Description
The Red Carpet Challenge gave me a chance to design for a guy-- a guy with a flair for the dramatic for sure-- I was thinking along the lines of Keith Richards, Steven Tyler and Johnny Depp. Hey, a gal can dream!
Truth, it's something I would wear too, but it's way too big for me!
Four shades of triangle beads-- gold, silver, gunmetal and dark blue-- are woven together in blocks of single-drop peyote. The texture is cool, almost scaley.
The clasp is a simple wireworked double hook that I formed from goldfill wire. It hooks over a pair of polymer clay bird skulls by Malodora. A third, smaller, darker skull faces the other two and is attached over the hook clasp.
The cuff is 2 1/4 inches wide (5.5cm) and fits about an 8 1/2 inch wrist (21.5cm)
NOTE-- it's slightly adjustable. The gold wire hook can be slid up and down a bit.
The design was stitched with FireLine beading thread.
